I’m going to flip this question over and change it to ‘how can you tell when SEO is successful?’
Right. There are lots of metrics we look at. There are lots of interesting things like rankings and impressions and blah, blah, blah.
The only thing that really shows you if your SEO campaign is successful is if you or your client if you’re a freelancer, is making more money than they did. Are the people on the website doing what they should and are there more of them? That’s how you tell if SEO is successful. The metrics are not everything.
