What is the main role of SEO? There could be many different answers depending on what your goals are but for me, I think the main role of SEO is to amplify the message of an already excellent business.
Yes, you can improve rankings for poor websites or businesses that aren’t run well but if you’re working with a business that is already excellent before SEO is even considered then it’s going to rank a lot faster.
There are just so many factors:
- People will like the business more
- People will be willing to help
- People will be more inclined to write for the business.
So the main role of SEO is to amplify excellence. It’s a fairly safe way of helping yourself understand how Google perceives the web as well. They want to promote excellence because ultimately when they put your website and their results they’re kind of recommending you, sort of, and they don’t want to recommend anyone who isn’t excellent.
